THM Academy
Personal platform for studying cybersecurity and assessing what I have learned.
EVIDENCE RECORD
What I built and what it proves.
- My role
- Designed and developed the reader, course navigation, progress model, practice features and assessments.
- Outcome
- A responsive application with a dashboard, course, practice, review and exams; timers, exercises, export and local persistence allow users to continue without a remote account.
- Validation
- Course and application tests; local progress, search, review, exercises, exams and export verified in the code.
- Tools
- React · TypeScript · Vite · Markdown · Vitest

Problem
Reading technical content does not guarantee being able to recall, connect or apply it later. I needed a study system that made it clear what I had mastered and what needed more practice.
- 02
Approach
I organised study documentation into a navigable course and separated the content from the learning layer. The value lies in the system built around those sources, rather than claiming authorship of all the technical material.
- 03
Learning system
Markdown reader, search, progress, mastery, bookmarks, notes and spaced reviews, combined with practice and assessment to reduce passive learning.
- 04
Limitations and lessons
Progress stays in the browser, and some content comes from my study process, documentation and assisted summaries. The demonstrable contribution is the learning and assessment architecture.
